Pondok pesantren Purnama Al-Alim dihadirkan untuk menunjang pedidikan karakter di SMP IT Purnama Cisewu dengan ijin operasional kepesantrenan dari kementrian agama RI yang dalam aktivitasnya terintegrasi dengan pola pendidikan di SMP IT Purnama Cisewu dengan penekanan pada Tahpizd Quran guna menciptakan insan muttaqien yang cerdas dan berakhlak mulia melalui pendidikan berkualitas dan pengembangan potensi siswa.
